Smyrlabjörg is a country hotel located by road number one. We offer accommodation for 90 guests, all rooms en suite with shower. A large, elegant dining room and a comfortable sitting room ensure a relaxing evening.
Smyrlabjörg is a traditional farm with cows, sheep, horses, chicken and dogs.
Smyrlabjörg is well situated for sightseeing in the South East of Iceland. Höfn in Hornafjörður, Skaftafell National park, and Jökulsá lagoon are within an easy driving distance. There are daily trips to Skálafell glacier, only 2 km from the farm. Also interesting walking routes and trout fishing.
